If u haven't seen the recent Motrin commercial u have to see it ill upload it below. I believe this commercial is SO degrading to all the mothers of the world. We love our kids and for this company to insinuate other wise is plain wrong i know 99.9% of all mothers will go to the ends of the earth for there children!
The baby sling is a great device that keeps your hands free plus gives your baby the comfort of being close to you at all times. Closeness for a baby provides the baby with security and comfort there are many studies done on this subject and its proven that baby's that grow up feeling secure in there surroundings grow up to be mentally, physically healthier and better adjusted as Adults.
There is nothing in the world like a mothers love. A mothers love can be the bases for any adult and how he/she will turn out as an adult! This said why would Motrin make an ad and i quote They likened the sling to a fashion accessory and said that while toting the baby can be tough, it "totally makes me look like an official mom."..Moms are official as soon as they go through the 14 hour pregnancy's or as soon as they wake up at 2 am 3am 4am night after night because the baby is crying! So Motrin here's my say to YOU i don't just LOOK like an official MOM!....I'M AN OFFICIAL MOM!.....Motrin might not like baby sling but us Moms do!
As i said before the baby sling is an essential part of a Moms life these days! I will be talking more in depth about the baby sling and its benefits in my next post! This post is for all the M.O.B. moms out there and there opinions on the new Motrin commercial i wanna here what you have to say we ALL want to hear so.....

I think that's insulting to mothers in general and Motrin needs to get more in touch with its audience before making these ads...Great blog by the way!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're bringing this to the attention of others. I can't believe Motrin would do such a thing. I have met so many mothers that claim baby slings are actually more comfotable and forgiving to their backs than the conventional carriers out there. Mortin should do more research...they should be ashamed.

ReplyDeleteI think if you gotta whine about a commercial that BARELY says that having a baby makes the mother cry...it means that you really don't love your children and someone pointing it out on TV makes you mad. The fact is you should be paying more attention to your kids and less attention to the television...cause it's YOUR kids that are going around spreading STD's and robbing people! PAY ATTENTION to your KIDS and stop whining about commercials idiots...
