Baby slings

Baby slings have been in use for many centuries back as far as Egyptian times and depending on your religious believes as far back as cave men times, in cultures all over the world.

It is said carrying your baby as much as possible is great for you. Also great for your baby and great for your relationship between you and your baby. Closeness between you and your child triggers your body to produce mothering hormones. It helps with lactation and makes your breast milk much more richer in essential vitamins that your baby needs to develop a good strong mental and physical start in life!
The very well known and respected Dr. William Sears, one of the leading pediatricians in the world of pediatrics held a study to compare the amount of times an infant will cry with mothers that use the slings and ones that don't. The Studies show that newborns who are carried much of the day cry less, day and night. NOW this does not mean u have to have your baby with you in the sling all day but when it is convenient its a good thing to do!
NOW NOTE ...The commercial below is correct in a way if u do not adjust the baby sling in the proper way your back could potentially hurt. But if it is adjusted properly the baby's weight will be disrupted throughout your torso and hips. My wife had no problems at all she loved the baby sling.
Your baby can be adjusted in different ways in a baby sling. U can adjust most slings and Ur baby to a sleeping position close to Ur body. You can adjust your baby to be facing outward or directly towards you or for nursing. You can even slip out of the sling if your baby is sleeping without he/she waking up!
There are many different things u can do with a baby sling i suggest experimenting to find the most comfortable position for you and your infant.
There are many different baby slings on the market today. Padded Un padded adjustable non adjustable they come in many different styles and colors. There are many great links to baby sling sites in the side bar check them out and see if you see any thing you like

This is an UN bias article I'm writing my opinion on the baby sling! I'm not promoting anything or selling anything. This is how i feel I think the baby sling is a great convenient option for all the 21st century moms of this world. Recent News Motrin Moms!!

If u haven't seen the recent Motrin commercial u have to see it ill upload it below. I believe this commercial is SO degrading to all the mothers of the world. We love our kids and for this company to insinuate other wise is plain wrong i know 99.9% of all mothers will go to the ends of the earth for there children!
The baby sling is a great device that keeps your hands free plus gives your baby the comfort of being close to you at all times. Closeness for a baby provides the baby with security and comfort there are many studies done on this subject and its proven that baby's that grow up feeling secure in there surroundings grow up to be mentally, physically healthier and better adjusted as Adults.

There is nothing in the world like a mothers love. A mothers love can be the bases for any adult and how he/she will turn out as an adult! This said why would Motrin make an ad and i quote They likened the sling to a fashion accessory and said that while toting the baby can be tough, it "totally makes me look like an official mom."..Moms are official as soon as they go through the 14 hour pregnancy's or as soon as they wake up at 2 am 3am 4am night after night because the baby is crying! So Motrin here's my say to YOU i don't just LOOK like an official MOM!....I'M AN OFFICIAL MOM!.....Motrin might not like baby sling but us Moms do!

As i said before the baby sling is an essential part of a Moms life these days! I will be talking more in depth about the baby sling and its benefits in my next post! This post is for all the M.O.B. moms out there and there opinions on the new Motrin commercial i wanna here what you have to say we ALL want to hear so.....
